Don’t Forget a Souvenir from the San Diego Zoo Stores
While visiting the San Diego Zoo, guests will want to purchase souvenirs, grab some refreshments, and might need to buy some forgotten necessities. The zoo offers shops for all of this and more. Snacks, souvenirs, themed shops, and a general store provide everything a guest could want.
As a cheap hotel by the San Diego Zoo, the Pacific Inn & Suites offers visitors a short rundown of the most popular shops and stores within the theme park’s entrance gates:
- The General Store, at the entrance of the zoo, provides guests with access to anything they may have forgotten to bring with them. Hats, sunglasses, and sunscreen are big sellers.
- Front Street Rentals is located in Front Plaza and offers wheelchair, both manual and electric, and stroller rentals for the day. Front Street Photos is right next door and offers guests photo souvenirs of their day, including magnets, photos, and CD’s.
- Zoo Brew, a coffee and snack shop, offers refreshments to guests touring the grounds and has a few keepsake items so you can enjoy a brew that reminds you of the zoo from home.
- The Zoo Store and Kid Store at the exit of the zoo offers a last chance to purchase any souvenirs a guest may have passed up earlier. Items include toys, jewelry, T shirts, books and stationary, and international gifts.
Additional Shops Located inside the Theme Park
Themed shops are located in various locations throughout the zoo. Panda Shop, Sydney’s Shoppe, Tusker’s Trunk, Arctic Trader, and Ituri Forest Outpost make up the themed shops and sell anything related to their specific theme.
